Exercise library, student homework paths, player, and room progress summary. What’s new in Lingvino for tutors and students.

Between lessons, students often lose momentum while tutors spend time on scattered materials. In the July 30 release we shipped homework paths: structured assignments from your exercise library, with progress tracking, due dates, and notifications. Live rooms keep a compact summary only — no cluttered interface.
A homework path is a sequence of steps you assign to a student within a room. Steps run in order, can include “pick N of M” blocks, or be marked optional. Students complete everything in their profile; tutors see progress on a dedicated screen and in the room homework widget.

Create exercises once and reuse them across paths. The builder supports Quiz, Match up, Unjumble, Complete the sentence, Group sort, Find the match, and Anagram. Each exercise has attempt policy and scoring rules.
You can duplicate, edit, and archive exercises. Archived items won’t appear in new paths, but already assigned homework keeps working.

In the composer you assemble steps, add exercises from the library, and publish the path to a student. You can set a due date — students see the deadline in their profile. After publish, the student gets a notification.
If publishing hits a conflict (e.g. the student already has an active path), Lingvino shows a dialog with clear options instead of a silent failure.

A dedicated view shows required vs optional steps, picks in “N of M” blocks, and remaining attempts. In the room, a compact widget mirrors the same progress so you don’t need to jump to the profile mid-lesson.

When you leave the room with temporary whiteboard images that weren’t saved to the library, Lingvino prompts you to save them. Temporary uploads expire after 24 hours otherwise.
The dialog lists unsaved images with thumbnails; you can select what to keep and leave in one action. Closing the browser tab shows the native beforeunload warning — a browser limitation, not Lingvino.

Homework appears under Profile → Homework. The path shows progress, completed steps, and due date. Exercises open in the player with a clear result after submit.
In the room, students see a short homework summary — no need to complete assignments during the live session.

We’re continuing to expand exercise types and tutor workflows. Send feedback via the contact page — it drives what we build next.
